Mirkka Eskonen is an illustrator living in Helsinki, Finland.

She mainly illustrates children’s books and enjoys exploring different techniques and approaches with each project.

In 2024, her first self-written and illustrated picture book, Talvipuutarhurit (Winter Gardeners), was published.

Her books have received several nominations and awards.
